About

Hi, I’m Inbar, the designer and maker behind Barbura Studio.
I create handcrafted kinetic objects that explore movement, balance, and materials.

I hold a B.A. in Industrial Design from the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT).
After completing my studies, I continued to develop my skills in goldsmithing and ceramics, alongside my work in industrial design.

Inspired by the dialogue between these fields, I founded my studio and focused on a more personal artistic practice centered on motion and transformation.

Each piece I create moves gently with the air, inviting the viewer to pause, observe, and experience a sense of quiet, curiosity, and calm.

For me, movement is a natural part of life, a reminder that everything is constantly changing, and that even within stability, there is motion.

I believe that movement affects the energy of a space. Whether placed in private spaces like a living room, bedroom, or workspace, or in public areas such as hotels or offices, my kinetic objects bring a sense of breath, softness, and harmony, subtly shaping the atmosphere around them.

Every object is handcrafted with care: from early sketches and balance studies to the making itself. I love working with brass and clay, combining techniques from metalwork and ceramics.

The dialogue between these materials- soft and hard, matte and shiny, natural and refined- inspires forms that blend the organic with the geometric and give each piece its quiet, simple presence.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or collaborations, I’d love to hear from you!
